I'm an experienced software engineer who designs and builds on the Microsoft stack: C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Azure and React. You work directly with me, from the first call to the handover.
What I do
Data and integration
SQL Server design and tuning, and SSIS pipelines that move data reliably between systems, including ERP and mainframe sources.
Modernization
Moving aging ASP, Visual Basic and Web Forms applications onto current .NET, with automated builds and deployments.
Azure and Microsoft 365 integration
Hosting and running your applications on Azure, adding Microsoft sign-in, and connecting them to Microsoft 365 data through Graph.
Experience
I've worked as a senior engineer, team lead and sole developer for large technology companies, health insurers, insurance and e-commerce businesses. A few projects I've built or led:
- An internal portal for a large software company's product groups, with news publishing, course registration tied to email and calendar, and organization-wide service requests.
- An e-commerce parts-ordering site that replaced an aging ASP application, with a web service tier connected to a transportation management system.
- A claims overpayment prevention application and high-volume SSIS pipelines bringing healthcare data from many sources into one repository.
- The database and middle tier of a global partner program website used in over 20 languages, as one of the leads on a 25+ developer team.
